editing pages

  Hi, over the last few days my WordPress site wont load editing pages for blog posts or creating a new page, I can use the mobile app but it will not let me edit from my Mac, I have done the usual restart, even updated software. when I click the ‘add page/ post’ it looks like it is going to load the page and then it just goes blank? it has me stumped, any ideas what is going on or how I can fix it? thanks in advance.
