editing site

  A friend and I want to manage the site with a domain name we’d previously bought using WordPress. We transferred the domain (from register.com) to wordpress … and when we go to that address, it does seem to be attached to our WordPress.com account.

  However, I can’t edit the site.

  The ‘MySite’ button in her account says we don’t already have a site … but we do (the one with the domain we had purchased). If I try to create a new account using the same domain name, the system says I can’t because that domain is already mapped to a WordPress account. That’s right; it’s mapped to our account … but why can’t I edit it?

  You failed to provide the URL of the site referred to and that is the starting point for getting support. Please post it.

  What is the domain you purchased and wish to use? Which account were you expecting to see the site in?

  Once I know more, I’ll look into why the site isn’t appearing.
