editing the site

  I’m finding the account and setup highly restrictive.

  It’s forcing me to upgrade to a paid WP plan and the templates available to my are highly limited. I also cannot figure out where to go to manually edit the CSS to modify the template.

  My Other wordpress account is far more capable of adding pages, content etc and I’m not sue what is the difference with this one. so I want to delete it and start over

  It looks like you’ve already deleted the site, but based on what you’re describing, it sounds like you your other site may be hosted elsewhere using the WordPress.org software, and to clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  Over here, we have hundreds of themes available, no paid plan required: https://wordpress.com/themes

  You can also add any third-party theme with a paid Business or eCommerce plan: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/

  And, you can edit the CSS on any theme with a paid Premium or higher plan: https://wordpress.com/support/editing-css/
