I’m working in a client’s wordpress.com WP site with Elementor. We purchased the pro version.
Elementor doesn’t seem to work very well in this environment.
I use Elementor a LOT.
We have sites built with Elementor running on WP Engine, GoDaddy, Siteground, etc.
In all of those sites Elementor works basically the same.
Here in WordPress.com’s environment It’s different.
I can’t use the Theme Builder unless I put it in Table View. I can’t do things like go into the Kit Library either.
I can’t click “Edit Page” while viewing a page in Admin mode.
What am I missing here?

I’m not sure I understand what you meant by “table view” can you clarify? What is the URL of the page you are on (when you have activated that view) so we can see what you see?
Also, please note that Elementor was likely designed to use the wp-admin dashboard interface, which is not on by default on WordPress.com. With that in mind, you may want to switch as it will likely show you a view that you are accustomed to on your other sites and also is the interface that Elementor is probably adding its extra controls to. https://en.support.wordpress.com/dashboard/
