Elementor generated CSS file, permissions not right. (0600)

  • Unknown's avatar

The CSS files created by WordPress or one of its plugins – Elementor, for all WordPress installations are generated with 0600 permissions rather then 0644 is due to an Imunify360 update. Imunify360 causing umask and permission issues in CloudLinux servers hence Umask of new files created in WordPress and CMS files getting wrong. Can this issue be fixed?

    Hi there!

It sounds like you are using the WordPress.org software hosted on a different hosting service provider. On this forum, we can primarily provide support for WordPress.com sites.

There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

You may want to post your question on the WordPress.org community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums – Volunteers on that support forum are more experienced with WordPress.org installs and they can help you with this.

You may also contact Elementor support for help if the problem is specific to the Elementor plugin. If you’re using the free version, they have a support forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/

    Regards
