  hello, i am trying to set my email for my site. However, when i try to set the email, i get a message saying that it is in use. i have deleted the account using that email though, is there a solution?

  You probably deleted the site that the old account was connected to, but the account still exists.

  Log into the old account, change the email to something else, then the original email will become available to use on your newer account.
