  Hello, so I am trying to get my email switched to another account. I used the wrong email on my other account and requested to change it on that account. But when I got the email from wordpress and clicked on the link, it made me an entirely new wordpress account with the email I wish to use for my already existing account. Now it’s not letting me use my email for the other account. I wish to close this account so that I am use this email for the other account, but it says I will have to wait 30 days if I just close the account but I never intended to make this account in the first place and haven’t used it at all.

  Hi there,

  You can use a different or a throwaway (temporary) email for this account. This will free up your normal email address and you’ll be able to use it on the other account.

  I hope that makes sense, but if you any clarifications just let me know.
