email adress no longer existent

  Hi, a client of me wants to delete her wordpress.com blog in order to start completely new. Now she has the problem, that her email adress under which she registered the blog is no longer existent so she can´t change her adress, already tried but there we would also have to click the link in the email that was sent to the no longer existent adress :-(
  How can we delete the complete account or the two existent sites and and change the email adress without having the possibility to get access to the old adress?

  Hi Jennifer,

  When your client enters a new email address, she will receive a confirmation email at the new email address she wants to use. (She doesn’t need access to the old email address to make that change.) She will need to click the link in that confirmation email to complete the email change.

  If that still doesn’t work, please let me know what email address your client is trying to use with this account, and I can look into the problem for you. (You can give me that email address here and it will be hidden from everyone except WordPress.com staff.)
