Email change

  I would like to close the (email visible only to moderators and staff) account and use my business address of (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  I have already purchased a domain that I need to use WordPress plug ins to use.

  Hi there,

  From what I can see the second email address you mention (the gmail.com one) is already in use on another account in our system. Possibly you used that address in setting up an account with us a few years ago to experiment with the platform?

  It’s not possible to use the same address for two accounts, so I would recommend that you send yourself a password reset for your old account (the one using the gmail.com address) and then change the email for that account.

  This will “free up” the address to be used with this account instead. You can send yourself a password to access your old account by entering your email address here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
