Email change – still pending.

I recently had to change my registered email with WordPress, as I had to deactivate this email for spam reasons. I changed this in my account settings, however the change has been ‘pending’ for months now, with no change. My new email has never been used on WordPress before, therefore I don’t see how this could be interfering with this process.
Any help regarding this subject would be most useful.

I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please post both the old email address that’s as well as the correct one that’s pending here. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
After you request an email change on your account, a confirmation email is sent to the new email address. You’ll need to click the link in that email to confirm the change.
If you don’t see that confirmation email in your inbox, please check your email’s spam or junk folder. You can also have that confirmation email resent by canceling the pending change and then re-entering the new email address in your account settings.
