Email DNS Mapping

After losing a weeks worth of email, I figured out that I needed to add a custom DNS record to fix the issue that my short attention span created. No problem i added the following entry via my DNS Registrar/email provider: MX 10 MX.MAILIX.NEX
My question is, is this all I need to make my email work? The *example image in the WordPress support pages makes it seem like several entries are necessary for proper email mapping. Is this true or is my one-line enough to do the job?

What domain did you register under your account? I can’t seem to find one under your ‘mikemikey’ blog.
To map an existing domain to your blog, go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
