email followers not receiving email notifications when new posts are published
-
Why didn’t my followers receive an email notification when I posted my blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Staff will need the following so they can examine this for you:
1. the URL of the post in question;
2. a couple of the username accounts that did not receive the post;
3. and/or a couple of the email addresses of those followers who do not have WordPress.com username accounts that did not receive the post.Note the software will redact [hide] the email addresses and only Staff will be able to see them.

The post is available in the feed as soon as your publish. However, each of your subscribers sets up their own frequency preferences when it comes to receiving posts they subscribe to receive. Not everyone clicks the “Instantly” choice, some choose “Daily” or “Weekly”. Others choose “Never” and follow the blog in the Reader rather than being flooded with email.

Thanks. I guess my followers did receive it, but I didn’t. I changed some of my email notifications. I am not sure how they got changed from my initial settings. Hoping this will help so I get a confirmation that my post actually went out to followers. Thanks for your help!

You’re welcome! If you do find out that email notifications aren’t being sent out to your followers, please let me know and I can look into it. :)
