Email followers not shown in stats

  Dear WordPress,

  In my theme header, I discovered that I have 79 followers! Which is fantastic, because my stats say I have about 27 (WordPress users). So somehow, my stats do not include email followers. I’d like to know the real amount of followers, and also see them, so I can get in touch as well.

  I’ve tried clearing cookies and caches.

  If you are talking about the number of followers that appears on your site in the “sign-up to receive new posts by email (Join 80 other followers)” widget, that number includes any services you’ve connected to via Publicize. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
