I am looking to market myself through email. The problem is that:

Can I create an email marketing campaign through WordPress? If so, how?? If not, what do you suggest??

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • No, not through WordPress.com. That would be a violation of our Terms of Service.

I have chosen a domain name that I do not like….it is waaaaay too long, but I am not well versed with this type of thing, and didn’t think of this in the beginning. Is there any way I can change the name?

    tutorandteachlanguageservices

    should be more like

    tutoringjab

Please tell me how I can accomplish this. Thanks!!

  • Registered domain name cannot be changed, and yours has passed the 48-hour refund period.

You can add a different domain to the blog via Store -> Domains in the blog’s Dashboard.

Unfortunately, I don’t understand what this means. How much would it be to just start a whole new website, copy and paste everything that I have, and change the name? Is that $25.00 for the year?

Is this the only option I would have for changing the domain name?

  • You don’t have to copy and paste everything, just go to Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard and add the desired domain to it for $18/year.

I made a mistake. I picked the right format at first (adding a domain), but canceled it thinking it was not working, when all I needed to do was to wait 24 hours for the new domain approval to come up. I didn’t realize I had to wait……oooohhhhh I should have had more patience. lol

I should have waited….right??? I just want to make sure. Please tell me for sure…I am not among the gifted with this kind of stuff….rather I am among the handicapped. lol

  • If http://tutorandteachls.com/ the domain you added? It hasn’t been canceled as far as I can see, and it’s functioning as desired.

What sort of trouble are you running into?
