Email not updating under general settings

Tried to update technical contact e-mail under General Settings but I never receive a confirmation. Tried several email addresses too in case one was registered already. Need to update since old web company that built site no longer hosts our website and we need to remove them as technical contact. Any help?

kokieh can I send a screenshot this has nothing to do with godaddy its a line under “general settings” of the wordpress site. I need it to be changed so in case we need to change/recover login it will go to proper email address.

So you’re referring to the admin user email for your site, not the technical contact email for your domain?
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. We can’t help with this, as we have no control over your site.

If you very specifically see a field labeled “Technical contact”, those forums won’t be able to help you either. No such field exists in Settings ->General in the WordPress software, so if you’re seeing one it’s being added by a plugin. In that case you’ll need to contact support for that plugin directly instead.
