Email notifications

I am not receiving email notifications of new posts on dalneitzel.com but am receiving the new comments even though both notifications are marked ‘on’ for the site.

Yes, I still need help. I still believe I am not getting notifications for new posts, although I don’t believe there have been any new posts lately to test this out again. I have been getting email notification of comments for the new posts and that was how I discovered that a new post had been made. Why I would get notifications of the comments without getting notification of the new post, is a mystery. I wrote to Dal Neitzel to see if there was anything in his WordPress account settings that had been changed and he said “no”. I do know that there were other people on the site who were having the same problem and I don’t know if their issue has been solved.
A friend has a WordPress blog and I know that her account settings went back to the default settings when an update was made to your site and I was wondering if the same thing might have happened to the dalneitzel.com account settings.

Hi @calidreamer5, the site isn’t hosted here so there’s only so much I can see on this end. I can see here that you have emails for new posts and new comments on:
https://wordpress.com/following/editYou might take off the new comments (that can be really overwhelming).
Then, if you continue to not receive posts, the site owner will need to do some troubleshooting & can get in touch with Jetpack if they need help:
