Email Notifications Ending Up in SPAM

  Why are our follower email notifications suddenly landing in people’s SPAM? This wasn’t an issue a few weeks ago. I’d hate to have to ask folks to whitelist wordpress.com retroactively and from here forward to any newbies who sign up. Did something change on your end?

  So I emailed our University help desk and asked why our Gmail (we use Gmail here at the UMN) is dumping WP emails into SPAM suddenly and they discovered that the 3rd IP (not sure if it’s OK to post the whole IP address here… starts in 76 and ends in 124) is DNS blocked because the hostname (PRT) associated with it is missing or does not point back to original IP address.

  Any way you can help on your end to resolve this so your emails are not being blocked?
