Email notifications for blog comments

  I’m not receiving emails when someone posts a comment on my blog. This has been going on for several months. I checked to ensure the box is checked. I also checked my spam folder and nothing. Can someone please help? I like to respond when I get a comment. Thanks! Debbie

  Hi there,

  This might have to do with a connection issue with the Jetpack plugin. Can you please re-connect Jetpack to WordPress.com and see if the comment issue is resolved? Here’s how to do that:

  Thank you. I did the disconnect and reconnect. I also deactivated, deleted and reactivated. I sent a test email and no notification. I gave it an hour. Anything else I can do? Cheers, Debbie

  Hey there,

  It looks like your site is down at the moment. At least I cannot access the site. Are you able to access the site? Are you using a plugin for your email notifications or your contact form? This may not be a Jetpack issue, yet is a common issue for self-hosted sites.

  It sounds like a great question for the WordPress.org forum community – http://wordpress.org/support/forums I would also suggest contacting your site host if you have additional questions.
