email notifications for new followers

  I am not receiving email notifications for new followers. I read a previous thread that discussed this. It said the problem was flagged for staff support. I receive emails except none regarding followers. I only have one email address and it is working fine including getting other emails from wordpress. Has a solution been found?

  You don’t actually appear to have any WordPress.com followers, just email followers. At this time, you’ll only receive notifications for WordPress.com followers.

  Aha! Now I understand.
  Perhaps that would be a nice feature to add… receiving email notification for all followers?
