Email notifications from comments not working

    I’m trying to figure out why i’m not getting email notifications when a comment is made on my site. I have enabled Elastic Email on my servers and I’m using WP Mail SMTP and I’m getting emails from both of those from their testing pages.

    I have email me when comments are made on the site settings, so im not sure why i’m not getting any email notifications. Any help would be great!

    Hello Sean,

    This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If there’s any custom email addresses in use, you may wish to check if there’s any filters in place at the email host to see if there’s any hindrances in place.
