Email notifications may not be going out

I’m not sure that emails are being sent when I create a new post. Someone who is following me said she did not receive an email when I published a new post. How can I be sure emails are being sent? I already checked settings and I have “instant email delivery” turned on.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you using the Classic or the New Post editor? There are some problems associated with the latter.

    Raincoaster,

First, thank you for responding so quickly. I have been using Classic but I am relatively new to consistent blogging. The only change I made was I went in to my posts to use the ‘more’ tag to break up my posts when someone hit the home tab (so they would see several headings on one page) but that has been the only change. It seems, since that change, that email notifications may not be working.
By the way, I was going to switch to the New Post Editor but I think I will wait on that based on your reply.

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

If you could give me the email address of the user who didn’t get the post email I can check our records. As timethief mentioned, email addresses will be redacted from public view, but staff will be able to see them.
