  Hi jessedevsite,

  I’ve checked jessedevsite.wordpress.com and the site is loading for me. Can you send a link to the page where you are seeing this error message?

  Sorry, I forgot to specify that this issue occurs when I click the email confirmation link that was sent to me. I tried “resend” and still having the same issue.

  Please try two things for me:

  1) Open an incognito window in Chrome and go to WordPress.com. On the login screen type your email address and request an email login link. When the email arrives, right-click the login link/button and select Copy Link Location, and then paste that in a new tab in the incognito session, not the session where you’re already logged in. That should verify your account.

  2) If that doesn’t work, log in normally in a new incognito tab, and try the same steps to open the activation link you already have in that incognito session.

  Let us know if neither of those work, and we can try activating your account manually instead, but it’s better to first try all the options for doing it via a link.

  P.S. I’ve removed the link you posted here, as that contains information that could be used to verify ownership of your account, which could allow someone else to take over your account if posted in a public place like these forums.

  @kokkieh I tried both of the ideas you mentioned. The link is being sent to 1&1 webmail by the way if that matters. It shows me the same message. Very odd.
