Email sent to blog followers does not show pictures within email
-
The “Follow Blog via Email” widget does not display the blog post pictures within the emails sent out to the followers after the blog is published. It shows blocks with the image title, but does not show the pictures. It does not even show a red x that would appear if the picture is blocked. How do I fix this so the pictures show up in the email sent out to the followers?

See here and note that the media files are in the RSS Feed for your posts > http://kolbco.wordpress.com/feed/
Some email clients display images and videos in emails and some do not. Some elamil clients allow users to either choose to display images or not to display them.

Thanks Timethief. Microsoft Outlook and the iPhone do not display the images in the emails sent via the “Follow via Email” widget. I did notice that one large picture that I centered at the bottom of the Alumni blog showed up on my iPhone email, but that was the only one.

We are not able to control that. It’s controlled at the recipient’s end not at this end. All the images are in the RSS Feed.
