Email spam

    I have received around 560 and counting emails from wordpress in about 24 hour hours. The email always says the same thing about monitoring comments on a blog post. I receive them either under a minute apart or within a few minutes. They are being sent to my work email (email visible only to moderators and staff). I don’t know how to stop them without unsubscribing to wordpress and I don’t want to unsubscribe I just want this repeat email to stop

    Hi there,

    What address are these WordPress emails are coming from? I checked your account in our system and I do not see any outgoing emails from us to you.

    To be certain, you can go to Notifications > Settings from under your account and uncheck all potential emails that would come from us:

    But, I don’t believe the emails you are receiving are coming from us. To verify please let me know the email address and we’ll look into this for you.
