Email still in use

    Hello,

    I created an account with the name ‘BeingHydFoodie’ using my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). I already deleted that account and created a new one ‘BeingHydFoodie786’ however unable to use my Gmail account as it states the email is still in use. Can you please help?
    I wish to setup my BeingHydFoodie786 with the Gmail ID.

    Hi there,

    It takes a few weeks after closing an account before the data for that account is deleted, and you’ll only be able to use the other email address once it has been deleted from that account.

    If you still wanted to use WordPress.com, why did you delete the account in the first place? If you wanted a different username, you could just have changed it without deleting the account.
