Email subscriptions not working

    My email subscribers are not getting the blog updates for the last two posts (Thursday, Oct.2 and Monday, Oct.6). Before now, they have received every new post by email. This is a blog for parents about our classroom and we need the email function to work.

    I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting as there is a backlog.

    2. Look below the comment box:

    Thanks. All of my subscribers have not received the last two postings. I subscribe to my own blog so I can check the postings. My username is tmc4a4b and email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I think it might be a sitewide problem, as the other WordPress blogs in our school are also not being sent by email. No problems up until the last few days.

    Hi there!

    I just checked our logs and I see emails being sent to your email address for all of your recent posts. Can you please check your spam folder?

    Hi,

    I’ve been checking the junk mail folder, and nothing is there. More of the subscribers received the last posting, although I didn’t. I’ll be posting again today, so I’m hoping everything is back to normal!

    Hi. Our email subscription service is also not working at PhiBetaIota.net. We have over 13k subscribers, so curious if there is a limit and/or how to troubleshoot this.

    Hi Devin,

    I just checked your self-hosted site at http://phibetaiota.net/ and I received this error message:

    “Error establishing a database connection”

    Please check with your website host about resolving that error and getting your site up and working again. (You’ll need to address that issue before working on the email subscriptions.)

    I also checked our system and I don’t see that site linked to your WordPress.com account. Do you have Jetpack set up on that self-hosted site?
