Email verification

    NOTE FIRST!! My email addresses provided ARE CORRECT – please do not mention to check them etc… where is wordpress support? Even for free users, where are they?

    i am excited and have just created a new blog at this site, but I have a huge issue, I am not getting the email confirmation to start. meaning I can’t even blog lol
    YES my email address is correct, in fact I even tried to send it to another email address of mine. It simply will not send me the verification to use my new blog here.

    Being new, I hope there will not be issues using it. It took some time for me to decide who to use, and I chose you. Should I move on to another and where and with whom?

    Is there anyway to contact wordpress support?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
    Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. And, I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    where is wordpress support?

    This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here and we Volunteers do not provide support by email.

    Volunteers who have been answering questions here for years longer than Staff have even been on Staff answer most questions posted into forum threads and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.

    Though some may think their support issue is unique I have been answering questions here for over 8 years and I can state unequivocally that it’s rare indeed that a question asked here has not been asked and answered previously.

    I received this comment on my blog:

    however I cannot answer you or do anything now, i guess I was timed out and now I cannot get in wordpress. Please note when i tried to get the verification / confirmation sent to me again, it asked if i wanted to send to another or different email address. I did try that, and i still didn’t get the email confirmation at that email address either!

    @cheriescraftcreations – It looks like you accidentally entered your email address @yhaoo.com instead of @yahoo.com. I’ve gone ahead and manually activated your account. Please make sure to update your email address under your account settings so that you can get emails from us including password resets:
