Emails say ‘ad’ supported

  Why are my emails to readers coming up ad supported? I didn’t pay for any ads. Is this something newly instituted at wordpress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com shows ads to keep the Free Plan for free. If you don’t want ads you must upgrade to a paid plan.

  Thank you. I haven’t posted recently and didn’t realize this . . .
