  Dear people,
  whenever I try to Embed a video or or upload a new one.
  I get this ‘Tehran mountain.wmv: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.’
  what am I doing wrong?

  you can’t upload a video on the free plan, but you can embed a video from several platforms, https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
