Embedded content from Flickt
-
I have an issue with the embedded block for Flickr. The pictures are no longers shown on the page. Sometimes only the URL and in other cases a random pichture (not mine).
When you click on the picture, the correct picture in Flickr is shown, so the link is correct
Removing the link and add a new block is no option as the new block is not showing anything. When saving the page only the url is visible
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @carolien114,
I can see the Flickr photos on the pages I opened, including Ostriches and Tinamous. The links are working, so leave the existing blocks in place for now. This looks like an intermittent embed-rendering problem.
If it happens again, please take a screenshot and note the exact page address so staff have a specific example to investigate.

If you take a look at the page below, you will see the issue in full.

Hi @carolien114,
I took a look at your page (Pigeons and Doves), and while I’m no longer seeing the exact layout scramble shown in your screenshot, I do see several broken Flickr embeds.
This usually happens because short links (like
[https://flic.kr/](https://flic.kr/)...) are being pasted directly into the Embed block. The WordPress Flickr block specifically requires the full web URL (e.g.,[https://www.flickr.com/photos/username/123456789](https://www.flickr.com/photos/username/123456789)) rather than short URLs to fetch and display the media properly.Could you try updating those embed blocks using the full Flickr URL for each photo to see if that resolves the issue?
