Embedded images won’t display in email notification sent to subscribers
-
I have a private WordPress.com blog and the emails for new blog posts always have the message ‘Images are not displayed in this email and must be viewed on the website.’ followed by the url link and the alt-text for the image (that was originally embedded in the body of the blog post). How do I get embedded images to display along with the main body of the text, in the email notifications?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Since your blog is private only a logged in subscribed user will be able to view your posts. Sharing your private content via email services negates that.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
