Embedding Audio onto my post

    I have a custom HTML block with the embed code for an audio podcast. When I am editing, I see the preview of what that block should look like on my page. When I preview or publish, the block doesn’t show- no podcast block. I’ve been at this for well over an hour and am extremely frustrated. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi there,

    Only some types of HTML is allowed on WordPress.com, and embeds typically use iframe or JavaScript code, which is not allowed.

    From what service are you trying to embed your content? Does the embed code contain iframe or script anywhere? If it does, you won’t be able to embed it on your WordPress.com site, only link to it.
