Embedding Google calendar: shortcode not allowed

  Hi!
  I followed the instructions for embedding google calendar on the sidebar. I pasted the shortcode in the custom HTML window.
  The code starts with iframe..so the error message displayed says ‘Tag<iframe not allowed’.
  Please advise.
