Embedding non-video animations

Do I need Videopress to embed animations which have been built as Flash, Adobe Edge Animate or HTML5 animations? In the same vein, how are PowerPoint or Keynote presentations embedded?

VideoPress supports MP4 (.mp4, .m4v), QuickTime movies (.mov), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), MPEG (.mpg), Ogg (.ogv), 3GPP (.3gp) and 3GPP2 (.3g2). If your animations are one of those filetypes, and you want to upload it directly to your site, then yes, you’ll need VideoPress in order to do that.
There are a few other options for putting videos in your posts. We offer easy ways to embed videos from many sources including YouTube, Vimeo, and Hulu. You can see our full list of video sources here:
