Embedding Vimeo playlists in a Karuna theme site

Vimeo have recently announced the ability to embed video playlists in WordPress.com sites. I have been successfully embedding individual videos in my sites for years without
any problems. However, after checking and following the Vimeo and WordPress instructions to embed playlists, I find I cannot. Attempts to do so leave the code link which, variously, takes the viewer directly to the album on the Vimeo site. Or, it open one of the playlist video full screen with a playlist down the left hand side of the screen.Oh, what to do?

Hi there, this is not currently supported here at WordPress.com. Can you post the embed code for one here in the forum between the code tags so that we can take a look at it?
Click the code tag, paste in the embed code and then click the code tag again.

Thanks for your response. Here, below, are two versions of the embed code for a Vimeo album playlist of six videos. One is to a fixed size, the other is responsive to the size of the target container.
