Hi,
The displayed image on an embedded YouTube video does not necessarily have black strips at the top and bottom. How slide show images appear on an embedded video depend depend both upon the various sizes and width/height ratios of the images used in the video, and upon the size settings you use on the embedded player. This applies to both top/bottom borders and side borders.
What you can do:
- To reduce the top and bottom borders, you can reduce the height of the embedded video player while leaving the width unchanged.
- To reduce side borders, you can reduce the width of the embedded video player while leaving the height unchanged.
- To reduce both side borders and top/bottom borders, you can reduce both the width and the height of the embedded video player.
-
I should have said “To reduce or eliminate…” in each case, because if you sufficiently reduce either the height, the width, or both, as the case may be, the borders will be hidden.
