Enable domain forwarding

    Hello, I have a domain registered with wordpress, expiring in February. I am transferring to Squarespace, however. But because my domain expires in February, I thought I would continue using the domain through wordpress, but just enable forwarding to Squarespace. I have been following these two tutorials: http://help.squarespace.com/customer/portal/articles/413088-mapping-a-domain-general-instructions-
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/mapping-domain-to-point-to-squarespace?replies=8
    But I cannot find how to do the second step in the Squarespace tutorial where it says the following:

    “Enable Domain Forwarding”

    Within your domain provider’s Domain Forwarding area, create a 301 (permanent) redirect rule to forward the version of your domain without the www to the version with the www.

    domain.com -> http://www.domain.com

    If presented with the options, always select http:// and 301 redirect types.

    Where can I find this in my WordPress.com Dashboard?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    The information you found on our support forums is out of date — since that post was made, Squarespace has changed their instructions for pointing domains to Squarespace. Our domain manager does not include a domain forwarding option like the one Squarespace currently recommends.

    I went ahead and entered the DNS records you need to point your domain to Squarespace. I also entered the records you need to keep your email working with your custom domain. (Please note it can take up to 72 hours for changes like this to take full effect.)

    Please let me know if I can help with anything else!
