Enquiry on deleting wordpress.com account

    Hi I recently signed up an account with WordPress.com and I hope to change it to WordPress.org. Hence, does it mean I have to delete my wordpress.com account? Will I be refunded if it is less than 14 days? Will it affect my domain name being deleted even though I signed it up on WordPress.org?

    You can safely delete your WordPress.com account as it does not affect your new site, which is hosted elsewhere.

    Will I be refunded if it is less than 14 days?

    The refund has already been processed, and you’ll see it in your statement within 10 business days.

    Will it affect my domain name being deleted even though I signed it up on WordPress.org?

    As I explained in my reply to your previous post (https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/domain-transfer-issues-15/), your domain will be released in about a week and you’ll be able to register it again through your new provider.
