  I have created a website on Site Ground, Environmental Emporium, LLC. I believe SiteGround uses WordPress.org. but I am getting notices to complete Jetpack on WordPress.com. I may have inadvertedly logged in to WordPress.com, if that is so, please cancel that site information, it is on WordPress.org.

  Hi Gary, using Jetpack is not the same as hosting your site with WordPress.com, but it does give you access to some of the same features we use here: from social media and stats to spam filtering, cloud backups, and security scanning depending on your plan.

  If you don’t want to use it, you can uninstall Jetpack, disconnect from WordPress.com, and (if you’d like) remove the WordPress.com account, though you’ll want to be mindful it powers your Gravatar as well. I wasn’t able to see any Jetpack connections with this account, but here’s how you can remove any connections. And here’s how you can close the account if needed.
