Hi, I am supposed to be connected to our website but it does not seem to exist (equipeentreprise.org). I get the ‘site currently unavailable’ notice when I look it up, and all looks normal on the hosting end. Has this site been removed by wordpress???

It sounds like there could be some confusion happening here. equipeentreprise.org is a self-hosted WordPress site, and so would be separate to anything on WordPress.com.
To explain, WordPress.com a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.
Self-hosted WordPress, is where the free open source software is downloaded from WordPress.org and installed onto a server.
This means, to access the site, you would log into equipeentreprise.org/wp-admin and not WordPress.com/login/.
You can connect the site to WordPress.com using Jetpack and this is how this could be done: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/
