The bad news is that this is NOT possible. That’s why there are 3 warnings given when one attempts to delete a blog. Moreover blog URLs cannot be recycled. So you will have to create register a new blog.

Erased or Deleted?
When I click on the blog associated with the user name I get a blank page – strange to me. There is not a “This blog has been deleted” message.
Were you using any Domain Mapping?
If you did not Delete the blog (requiring many clicks etc as noted above) then probably ask the Staff why noting is being displayed – I have a hard time believing that changing a Theme would Delete a blog.

I was not domain mapping…dont even know what that is or how to do so. Was clicking on and checking out differnent themes, saw one that said CBS and clicked on it (it showed only the cbs logo and a blank page) and then when I waited for the theme to show up…nothing. BUt a blank page…does wordpress have stored copies of their bloggers work? Please HELP…
-
please ANYONE…Help me contact wordpress staff or have info that can help restore my blog. Is my work now floating around a CBS blogsite? CHeck the themes feature…when I was chekcing it, at first there were many themes…later when I went back, only 2 or 3…I clicked on one and that was it…blog gone…

okay…i also saw something that said HTTP 500 Internal Server Error followed by http://crystalcleareye.wordpress.com/ Does that mean anything to you at all?
-
It all translates to contact the staff – give them as much info as you can – us unpaid volunteers don’t have access to the back end needed to fix things –
