erasing the footer

    Hi. I am starting a business doing photography and web design for people who don’t want to tackle learning the basics of wordpress and need help with structure etc. I am a pro subscriber but I still don’t understand how to upload plugins like a calendar and an audio stream, and most importantly, get rid of the footer which says hosted by wordpress. Can you walk me through it? I’m a bit confused on whether I need to download wordpress in order to play with the code or if I can do it with the package I now have. Thank you!
