ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

    I am an admin for a company blog and was wondering if you could help fix what is quite a major issue.

    I have attempted to visit the blog both through the website and through the /wp-admin/ login on multiple browsers and devices. Whichever way I try, I am greeted with the ‘white screen of death’ which tells me that this site can’t be reached and ‘refused to connect’.

    I have read that this may have something to do with the plugins. But as this error prevents me from activating the desktop, I wasn’t sure if it would still be possible to do this.

    This issue is most certainly the cause of something within the WordPress blog itself. But if it is still important to share, I am currently working on a Mac.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

    Good morning.

    That makes a lot of sense as normal WordPress does not recognise me as a user of the site.

    Thank you for your help and directing me in the correct place. I shall go through this query with them.
