Error 500 on multi language site

    Hi

Over the last month, we have been experiencing downtimes and Error 500 on our website but it predominately occurs when switching languages on the site.

    https://veho-word.com

I’ve asked the ISP up the memory and RAM dedicated to the site, also it’s on its own virtual server.

Our developer has suggested the following, “Checked and found that the European languages are randomly working. We think the problem is happening when the server cannot complete the page execution within the max_execution time set by the server. But we are unable to increase these values on this server.”

Does this make sense to anyone or could anyone offer any further advice?

    Many thanks
    Darren

Hi there, by the sound of it you are using the open source WordPress software rather than being hosted here on the WordPressdotcom platform.

For help with the open source WordPress software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of the WordPressdotcom platform. WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
