Error Connecting to WordPress.com
-
I installed JetPack and when I tried connecting it with WordPress.com, it gives out an error.
It says:
” Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: client_secret
Try connecting again.
You need to register your Jetpack before connecting it”I’ve tried deleting all JetPack files and reinstalling again. But, it keeps on giving the same error.

Sorry, it didn’t helped.
I deactivated all other plugins and retried connecting to WP.com, but it still gave the same error. -
Hi there,
Could you try downloading the Jetpack Compatibility Test plugin?
You can download it from here:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/jetpack/branches/jetpack-compatibility-test.zipAfter you upload and activate the plugin on your Plugins page, you can email the output to us at: help@wordpress.com
It would also be helpful if you could:
– Include the URL where you see the error message in your screenshot
– Reference this thread by including the link, “https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/error-connecting-to-wordpresscom”, in your email. Thanks!
