Error Connection Timed Out

  Whenever I try to log into a website that I am the administrator of I am taken to an ‘Error Connection Timed Out’ page rather than to my website. I have tried several different things to work around this problem that have not worked. I have made sure that my connection was good. I have tried several different browsers and I get the same message. I have tried uninstalling Google Chrome in case my settings were the problem. I have tried to make a rule for my firewall to let the website through. Has anyone else had this problem? How have you worked around it to access you website?

  What is the URL of the site with the problem?

  I am an administrator–so, I don’t have an account because I have just undertaken the responsibility of administrating the site.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
