Error: Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found
-
I have recently moved from wordpress.com to an externally hosted wordpress.org site and I keep receiving an error saying that the domain mapping upgrade couldn’t be found for my domain name.
‘Error: domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’
This is very annoying as I have unassociated my domain name with wordpress.com!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you changed your domain’s nameservers to point to your new webhost? If they are still pointing at WordPress.com, you will see that message.
Also, it can take up to 72 hours for nameserver changes to propagate through the internet. So you may just need to wait a bit if the change was recent.

Yep, I’ve changed the domain’s nameservers to point to the new webhost. I did this 24 hours ago so might take a bit longer.
The website is loading properly on numerous computers other than my own. I have found a temporary solution in clearing my cache but this only lasts about 10 minutes before I get blocked out again.

I would give it a bit more time. If you get to 72 hours and are still having issues, I would contact your registrar and ask them what’s up.
-
You might try a new/different browser or a private browsing window to see if that fixes the cache issue.
