Error establishing a database connection
-
I received this error message this morning on my site after it was a little glitchy the last couple days and yes I was adding new content. I can no longer access the wordpress log in wp-admin or the cpanel. I’ve tried trouble shooting but I am a novice so asking for help. My site is hosted on GCP with SSH. My password hasn’t changed and the server is green as in good so I cannot locate the problem. I genuinely need some advice. To make matters worse, I logged into WordPress (here) and it saw my site and said there was an error, do I want to uninstall Jetpack and I said yes but now my website isn’t viewable in WordPress site credentials under my profile. HELP please!

Hey there, are you able to contact your host? If you can’t access cPanel, they should be able to help you resolve that, and that may clear up the issue with your WordPress installation, too.
If not, they can likely help with one of these: https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/
https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/Going forward, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here on our servers, but there is another forum for the free WordPress software. You can find that here:
