Error for updating WP, installing plugin, changing theme

    The site shows error for updating WordPress.com, Installing plugins and unable to change the theme. ‘Error Occurred’. Please help fix the problem.

    This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    For assistance installing a theme, you would need to reach out to the hosting provider to see if there’s any limits applied to the installation.
