error message; “does not meet security guidelines”

  I get error trying to upload any type of video file.

  I’m Using an Intel MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.4. Files I have tried are .mov, .flv, .avi (all with suffix attached)

  I get the error message; “File type does not meet security guidelines. Try another.”

  I have looked at the FAQs and can’t find a resolution.

  I originally tried some months ago was no success then either.

  i would appreciate help from someone who has uploaded video files, please.

  Well that was simple wasn’t it? Don’t know how I missed that I need to do a space upgrade.

  WordPress should really have a separate message that comes up and says, “You need the space upgrade to be able to download that filetype” instead of the “one size fits all “File type does not meet security guidelines. Try another.”
